Rangat Island

Rangat is a base for exploring Middle Andaman, with coastal stops and mangrove landscapes that add variety to an island holiday. Visit Dhani Nallah Mangrove Walkway for its wooden boardwalk through the mangroves, or include Amkunj Beach in a sightseeing day.

Other places to consider include Yerrata Mangrove Walkway and Moricedera Beach. Choose your stops around the time available and current access conditions. Turtle nesting is a seasonal natural event, not a guaranteed part of a visit.

Allow enough time for the journey when combining Rangat with Baratang, Mayabunder or Diglipur. Confirm transport, accommodation and any boat connections before finalising your route. Follow local signs and avoid disturbing wildlife or mangroves.
