These standard packages use breakfast-only meal plans. Flights, lunch and dinner are excluded. Ask for written confirmation of hotel names, room sharing, taxes, ferry classes, transfers and the exact activities included before paying.

Build your total in six parts

1. Island package: confirm the total for your group, rather than multiplying the adult price for children.
2. Return flights: check the fare for your departure city, travel dates and baggage needs.
3. Lunch and dinner: allow for every travel day, including arrival and departure days when relevant.
4. Optional experiences: separate paid water sports, photography and private arrangements from included sightseeing.
5. Personal expenses: include snacks, shopping and any hotel extras you expect to use.
6. Contingency: keep some flexibility for changes or additional nights if transport is disrupted.

For example, two adults at the displayed family-package price of ?17,999 would have a package component of ?35,998, if that rate applies to their booking. Their complete holiday cost would also include flights and the other excluded expenses. This calculation is an illustration, not a live two-person offer.

Compare like-for-like quotes

Check the number of nights on each island. A trip with an overnight stay on Neil Island is different from a route that only mentions Neil in a sightseeing list. Check whether an activity quote covers transport to the departure point, the boat ride and the activity itself; those can be separate items.

Ask whether transfers are private or shared, which ferry class is proposed and what happens if the quoted hotel is unavailable. A cheaper quote may suit you perfectly, but you should understand what changes before choosing it.
